9/11 – Answering The Call DVD – Kathleen Turner 

Kathleen Turner narrates this documentary, looking at the harrowing events following the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre on 11th September, 2001, and following the firefighters, police, and volunteers, who all did their bit to help in the devastation.

2006 commemorates the 5th year since the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center. This is the true story of those heroes who fought to save lives after the attacks. This programme starts with images of the 9/11 attacks and then goes on to depict the experiences of Ground Zero’s volunteers – firefighters church and relief organization volunteers – with the reconstruction of events private citizens describe their experiences when responding to the call for help. Many firefighters lost their life ‘Answering The Call To Duty’.
