The AIMS Gala took place at the Royal Albert Hall London on 20th February 1988 and was the culmination of a project conceived by Rolling Stone Bill Wyman some time earlier. Bill Wyman created AIMS (Ambitions Ideas Motivation Success) as a vehicle for discovering new artists and bands and to provide them with the opportunity of both playing before a much wider audience and with a multitude of established names. The new acts were chosen from throughout the United Kingdom and Europ
