British Steam: The Gwr Story – Part 5 DVD –  

A documentary series looking back at the golden age of the Great Western Railway. As well as looking at the return of steam on the mainline railways, this programme focuses on the rise of preservation societies and the restoration of some of the GWR’s classic locomotives.

In the program we look at the development of steam preservation and the renovation of some of the classic steam locomotive that use to run on the GWR suburban and main lines and the return to steam on the mainline railways system.
