Bull riding is the most popular of all rodeo rough stock events but also the most dangerous. Scoring points is easy to understand: two judges give 1 to 25 points for a cowboy’s performance and 1 to 25 points for the bull’s performance; thus 100 points would be the perfect ride; however getting a high score is extremely difficult. Just imagine being on top of a two-thousand-pound bull; also riders must ride the bull with only one hand and cannot touch themselves or their bull with the free hand or they end up with no score. Obviously riders require excellent balance flexibility coordination and a lot of courage. In this program we get to view some of the worlds best bull riders during the Mile-Hi Bull Riders’ Showdown.
