Every episode from the classic 1950s television comedy series starring Phil Silvers as a crafty, work-shy sergeant. Sgt Ernest G. Bilko (Silvers) is based at the fictional Fort Baxter in Kansas. In charge of a ragged band of troops, Bilko uses his wily ways and gift for smooth-talking to avoid work wherever possible. This involves the constant deception of his commanding officer, Colonel Hall (Paul Ford), and often the manipulation of his own troops, though when his men come to him with a problem Bilko is equally adept at using his slyness to extricate them from difficulty…
