In ‘The Beast With a Million Eyes’ (1955) a grotesque alien creature terrorises a rural family on their isolated farm in the Californian desert. Finally, ‘The Man from Planet X’ (1951) sees an alien arrive on a lonely Scottish island as a massive object hurtles through space towards Earth.
