Off-beat drama, set in Winnipeg during the Great Depression in 1933. Eccentric Baroness Lady Port-Huntley (Isabella Rossellini) launches a campaign to find the saddest music in the world, and before long musicians from all over the globe are making their way to her Winnipeg home to try and win a prize of $25,000.
