War In The Air DVD – Philip Joubert 

Produced by the BBC in 1954 this is an outstanding documentary series that looks at aerial warfare from 1935-50 comprising fifteen half-hour episodes. The series was two years in the making and had the pick of nearly twelve million feet of Allied and Axis film footage. Packed with rare and unique film footage these DVDs are mastered from the original 35mm prints for superior sound and visual quality. ‘War In The Air’ is widely regarded as one of the very best BBC documentaries of the 1950s and indeed the finest aviation series of all time.
